Top Toronto Boudoir Photographer Shares a Client Story & Photo Highlights
Every client arrives with their own story, their own season of life, and their own reason for wanting to celebrate themselves through photography. As a Toronto boudoir photographer, one of my greatest joys is creating a space where people feel seen, supported, and genuinely comfortable being themselves.
What made you want to do a boudoir shoot?
I'd been thinking about it on-and-off for the last few years… It seemed like a great confidence-booster, and a wonderful way to celebrate sensuality, beauty, and feeling comfortable in one's own skin. After coming out of a personally challenging time in my life (cue breakup and loss of a loved one!), it felt like exactly the right moment to book a boudoir shoot, for all the above reasons, but also as a way to celebrate the body that carried me through some really difficult moments.
2) How did you feel seeing your photos for the first time?
SO shocked, but in the best way possible! I'm not someone who typically loves having her picture taken, but the pictures were so stunning, and, importantly, they all still looked like ME. I had never seen myself looking so confident and sensual. I'm still in awe of the way Samantha was able to capture me!
3) What drew you to Samantha's work?
Samantha takes gorgeous pictures, and the way her muses are captured is so elegant and dramatic. Scrolling through her portfolio, I also noticed that she captures women of all different sizes, looks, and ethnic backgrounds. Her work is in no way one-size-fits-all, and she is truly able to highlight the unique beauty of each and every model. This was really important to me!
4) Would you recommend this experience to other women?
100000% YES! As 2025 comes to a close, I can truly say that my boudoir shoot was one of the best things I did all year. Samantha's energy is so calming and supportive, and she is truly a master in her craft. The experience was so comfortable, fun, and the end result was magical.
